Are you suffering from this worldwide disease?

Hi there,

How's your summer going? I hope that you get some rest and enjoy the longer days.

It's been mixed for me, but as always, I use these low points to reflect and I always come back to you with some new takeaways.

And this time is no different!

I wanted to write a few words about unworthiness - the worldwide disease from the subject of this email.

I realised that even though you're on a journey of self-development for a while, prioritising yourself and loving yourself as you do - unconditionally - the feeling of not being worthy or enough can still be there in the background.

And it has serious consequences, like:

  • not manifesting what you want (more generally speaking),
  • having money blocks - no matter how much I work, more money doesn't come,
  • delaying your own fulfilment by resisting what is here and now (including your emotions),
  • still looking for external validation (from people, praises or even tracking views on your content),
  • believing you're so high value and yet cannot attract the right partner,
  • comparing yourself to others who achieved more.

There are many MANY more examples because I know we ALL feel unworthy of something.

Ut caught me off-guard. It was so unexpected. Me, feeling unworthy still?

Yup. A part of me still doesn't believe in my dreams - the nervous system is not yet ready to accept the notion of that dream reality. It doesn't look safe just yet.

So these things take time. But not to worry. This is by design and it's also something I discuss in the video linked below.

We all have desires - and yes, they are for you!

However, there's a nuisance all desires reveal about ourselves and our sense of worthiness, and I talk about it in depth in this video from yesterday (come for a walk with me!):

So join me there and understand what your desires are meant to prepare you for and what their purpose is - other than giving you a sense of direction and motivation to act.

After you've watched the video, ask yourself: what if I don't get what I wanted? What does it mean for me? What does it say about me? What do my desires try to say about me? And then sit with that comes up for you. Journal it as well, it's a wonderful practice.
