Hi my loves,

How are you feeling lately?

Many people were convinced that the final emotional shedding — the end of the old story and the timeline jump — would be complete by the Chinese New Year.

And yet, collectively, it seems we’re still in the process of shedding.

Two years ago, I went through the exact same thing.

So this is why I'm not scared of feeling as much as I feel right now and can't help but be a bit excited for the months to come.

I entered 2024 with so much optimism and enthusiasm, truly believing: this is my year. I felt empowered and ready.

And then… the first two months were BRUTAL.

I came back from Christmas break to find that one of the balcony doors in the apartment I was renting had been blown off by strong winds — leaving the house exposed for who knows how long.

The repairs took over two months, which meant I was living in freezing winter temperatures.

At the same time, I was going through a very hard period at work. My back pain came back (probably stress-related), and emotionally, I was a wreck.

But then… that year turned out to be one of the best years of my life so far :)

I traveled to my dream destination for a long, solo hike. I was promoted at work. Abundance flowed in. Love was in the air. It was just a really, really good year.

It's as if life is trying to tell you: don't judge a book by its cover!

So don’t be discouraged if you’re still feeling low and “shedding” the final layers of the old story — releasing emotions that have been deeply trapped within you.

You're the awareness in which all this arises.

Hold on. And allow yourself to feel.

Sleep. Rest. Be brave enough to do nothing and choose stillness.

Being present is the greatest gift you can give yourself, I promise :)

When we go through phases like this, we’re often met with a test: Will we cave and return to the old story — or keep moving forward into the new one?

And the difference in how you respond is EVERYTHING.

So allow it. Don’t fight it. See it as a shadow of your old self passing through.
