I Was Wrong About Imagination—Here’s What I Realised

Imagination misconception

Hey!

For the longest time, I thought I had to use my imagination to visualize my desires over and over.

I thought I have to imagine in SATS, repeat "Thank you, father", do it every day.

To impress my subconscious.
To make it “stick” so it would show up in my 3D reality.

And yes, repetition does something.
But I missed a crucial piece.

I was still seeing imagination as a means to an end.
Something I did so that reality would change. Because it always has to follow.

But then, it clicked.

I realized—I don’t imagine to get.
I imagine to be.
To experience what I want, right here, right now.

To experience it over and over so that the feeling of realness is so familiar, I can bring it up at any moment.

When someone says: act and feel like person who already has it. But if you never experienced that in your life, you will not know how it is. In your imagination, you can. With consistent practice. Because if certain patterns and habits appeared in our lives experientially, it will also be let go of experientially.

Because if I can experience it in my imagination, it’s already real. Imagination is the only reality.
And if it’s real, I can tune into that feeling at any moment.

I don’t have to chase it.
I don’t have to wait for the 3D to give it to me.

Now, when doubts creep in, I ask myself:
Who am I being right now?

If I’ve made the feeling of my desire familiar in imagination, I can return to it.
I can shift back to it.

That’s the real power of imagination.
Not to make something happen out there.
But to let yourself be it now.

And to make the feeling SO FAMILIAR, that every time my mind wanders in my day to day, I can ask myself consistently: who am I being?

Because this journey is not about doing but about disciplining your mind enough to be able to persist in the right direction.

And the more you are it, the more reality follows.

IT HAS TO. It has no choice.

Now In Practice: Here's What You Can Do

  1. Brainwash yourself to know that what you experience in your imagination HAPPENS FOR REAL, in this moment.
  2. Use your imagination to give yourself the feeling you want to experience. Do it whenever you want or need.
  3. Imagine how it is to be the person who has it to get familiar with the feeling of naturalness of that experience.
  4. When you experience negative thoughts or emotions just notice them and don't attach to them, don't dwell on them. Just let them go: they're not true anyway. No resistance, just acceptance.
  5. Bring the feeling back everytime you catch your mind wander into undesired territories by asking yourself: who am I being? And then overwrite it with the feeling you practiced in your imagination.

That's all you need. Catching yourself from moment to moment. Consistently.

I can stop making content now because that's really it 😂

But I won't, so enjoy your week and I'll catch you next week :)

And remember:

You are brave.

You are loved.

Be kind to yourself!

With Love,
