Hey, Reader!
I talk about awareness of being a lot.
I keep repeating: this practice is experiential.
It's true that no number of carefully selected words, by people far smarter than me, won't expand your awareness as much as the regular experience itself can.
This is a subtle truth, that seems very ordinary and is easy to miss.
First, why does it matter?
Awareness never ceases to be aware.
Awareness is God. The Universe. The Source energy. Divine Consciousness.
It's your constant and your true nature of love, bliss, abundance, peace.
It's what helps you to stay grounded and accept what is.
Because you're not this body, this human self, or the emotions and thoughts appearing in your experience.
You're the awareness behind these things.
When we realise that and practice this daily, meditation becomes a walking practice.
Peace flows into your life as it always should have, because you are peace.
Now it's not blocked to enter anymore.
You notice more about yourself and others. You understand.
Thoughts don't bother you as much anymore and there's more emptiness now.
You don't identify with this mind.
That's freedom.

But how to get there?
Through this simple practice.
In the morning, before leaving your bed and at night, before falling asleep, repeat this simple process.
- Get comfortable. Relax your body, let it just drop into your bed.
- Notice the comfort and safety. Let it ground you in the present moment.
- Move your attention to your breath.
- What is the one aware of it? It's the awareness itself. Notice it feelingly.
- You can repeat: I AM. I AM.
- You are not this body. You are the one that animates it, experiences it.
- You can repeat my morning mantra: I AM the faceless, formless substance of power. I AM all there is. I have absolutely everything right now. Nothing is missing in my life. I have it all and therefore I am it all. I AM. I AM.
- Let it carry you in the now moment.
Try to come back to it during the day. Notice the spaces between thoughts, the emptiness, rather than the thoughts and their contents themselves.
Next thing you know, once pesky and intrusive thoughts, now are your reminder, helping you to be more aware.
Make it your daily practice and soon you'll understand why it was so important to start.
How does this feel to you?
Is it weird? Do you feel resistance? Does it feel like it cannot be that impactful?
Did doubts appear?
All this is okay, just notice. See that this is this character saying these things. The awareness is the one witnessing that.
It always is.
And remember:
You are brave.
You are loved.
Be kind to yourself!
With Love,
Marta
